Today marks World Quantum Day, a day to acknowledge and celebrate quantum science and technology around the world.
Quantum physics has been a dynamic field of research across the world for nearly 100 years. Scientific progress over many generations has spawned a new generation of technologies: quantum computers, quantum-secure communications, quantum sensors, and a myriad of key enabling technologies.
These quantum technologies will transform our world: from healthcare to transportation, logistics to finance, energy to cybersecurity. The future shaped by quantum technologies is not just about scientific breakthroughs — it’s about practical, everyday improvements that will redefine industries and enhance our lives.
Q-STAR is proud to be a founding member of the International Council of Quantum Industry Associations (ICQIA), alongside our international partners QED-C, QuIC, and QIC, representing a diverse and dynamic global community of stakeholders.
Together, on World Quantum Day, we and our many members reaffirm our enthusiasm and optimism for the future prospects offered by quantum technologies, and our unwavering commitment to work together to accelerate quantum’s transformative potential.
