On May 14, 2025, "Quantum & AI: Transforming Industry" was held at the Swiss Embassy, bringing together approximately 40 experts involved in quantum technology and industrial innovation. Discussions focused on creating an ecosystem centered on quantum technology and fostering global collaboration not only between Switzerland and Japan but also with like-minded communities in various countries.

The Swiss Embassy presented on Switzerland's investment activities and research achievements in the quantum computing sector, while QAI Ventures, a Swiss-born VC, delivered a lecture on the integration of quantum computing and AI technology.

Q-STAR's Representative Director, Shimada, participated in the panel discussion. Through the discussion, a shared understanding emerged that building an ecosystem is indispensable for accelerating the development of quantum technology. As key challenges for further development, it was emphasized that quantum computing use cases and killer applications are crucial elements for promoting technology adoption. The panelists collectively conveyed the message that open global collaboration, transcending national and corporate boundaries, is necessary to build a high-quality ecosystem for this new industry.
