The General Incorporated Association for Quantum Technology and Industry Creation (Q-STAR) and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) Global Research Center for Quantum and AI Fusion Technology Business Development (G-QuAT) held a joint symposium titled "The Stage of Quantum Future: Social Implementation and Business Opportunities" on July 11.

Launch of joint research and realization of a software platform to accelerate social implementationto

 The General Incorporated Association for Quantum Technology and Industry Creation (Q-STAR) and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) Global Research Center for Quantum and AI Fusion Technology Business Development (G-QuAT) held a joint symposium titled "The Stage of Quantum Future: Social Implementation and Business Opportunities" on July 11.
 This symposium aimed to encourage participants to discover the practical value of quantum technology and take the next step towards the quantum era, while also providing a platform to meet industry-leading figures, thereby fostering business creation and driving business transformation. It brought together domestic and international industry, government, and academia stakeholders, including government agencies, domestic academia, private companies, embassies of like-minded countries, and overseas industry organizations. They shared information on the latest industry trends, introduced initiatives for the creation and development of the quantum industry, and exchanged opinions on challenges from a global perspective.

Between Q-STAR and G-QuAT,Signing of a joint research agreementwas announced, and the importance of developing a software platform and a large-scale computing environment for practical verification was highlighted to accelerate the social implementation of quantum computing. Regarding the software platform, within Q-STAR's activities to date,activities that have specifically advanced demonstrationand, based on that,a software stack diagramwere presented, demonstrating that use cases and their problem-solving are already in the practical implementation phase.
