Official Side Event for G7 Science and Technology Ministers' Meeting in Sendai Hosted by Q-STAR and Tohoku University

Q-STAR, in collaboration with Tohoku University, hosted a high-level meeting titled "The Future Opened Up by Quantum Technology" on May 14 (Sunday) at Tohoku University NanoTerasu. This event served as an official side event of the G7 Science and Technology Ministers' Meeting in Sendai. Representative Director Shimada introduced Q-STAR's initiatives and made a global appeal to the G7 dignitaries, Japanese government and academic officials, and representatives from three overseas quantum industry organizations who attended. Following this official side event, Q-STAR and Tohoku University also co-hosted a symposium, which saw significant participation both in-person and online.
