On February 14, 2025, the Q-STAR Quantum City Promotion Committee hosted the "1st Quantum City Exchange Event" as an opportunity to deepen understanding of quantum technology and build collaborative relationships among local governments, universities, and businesses.

The program for the day:available herePlease view.
Over 60 participants gathered both in-person and online, and presentations were given by local governments, universities, and businesses on activity reports and initiatives for utilizing quantum technology in new "community development." The event concluded with great success.
As research and development in quantum technologies, including quantum computers, progresses, it is expected that by the time they are implemented in society, the systems and networks supporting the infrastructure and services of the "cities" we live in will undergo significant transformation.
Our association aims to promote the social implementation of quantum technology ahead of the world and to become a global leader in this field by collaborating with our member organizations. The Quantum City Exchange Event is an initiative not limited to only a few interested individuals, but rather an attempt to build a broad network, including local governments, which will be necessary for future social implementation, and to pioneer the quantum era.
Since many participants expressed their anticipation for future events after the conclusion of this one, we plan to organize subsequent events from the second one onwards. If you are interested, please contact our association.
