"Q-STAR × Plug and Play" Acceleration Program for Quantum Startups Now Open for Applications

Program Overview

To further accelerate the quantum ecosystem in Japan, we support startups leveraging quantum technology to grow their businesses. Throughout the three-month program, dedicated representatives from Q-STAR and the Silicon Valley-based accelerator Plug and Play will provide hands-on, tailored business development support. Adopting a startup-first approach, we go beyond simple brainstorming to help address the various challenges startups face.

1. Partner and Corporate Introductions

Business matching leveraging Q-STAR member companies and Plug and Play’s global network.

2. Fundraising and PR Support

Introductions to leading domestic and international investors (VC/CVC), along with guidance on media exposure and PR activities.

3. Specialized Hands-on Support

Customized, practical support including business strategy brainstorming, talent acquisition, and guidance on intellectual property and regulatory compliance.

Through this second program, we will once again combine Q-STAR’s powerful industrial network with Plug and Play’s world-class startup support expertise to drive further growth for Japanese quantum deep-tech startups and promote solutions for future societal challenges. This year, in addition to supporting startups, we plan to further strengthen our ecosystem-building efforts by hosting technical briefing sessions for large corporations interested in potential collaborations. We look forward to receiving applications from startups that are taking on the challenge of quantum technology and aiming for the global stage.
