Q-STAR and G-QuAT Joint Symposium 2025

On September 9, 2025, Q-STAR and G-QuAT co-hosted a symposium that brought together representatives from companies, research institutes, and worldwide alliances to Japan. Participants engaged in dynamic discussions on integrating quantum technologies into society and unlocking new business opportunities.

Opening the symposium, Mr. Taro Shimada, Chairman of Q-STAR, emphasized the importance of building an ecosystem that bridges technology and society. He stressed that international collaboration is the foundation of innovation and shared his vision for sustainable growth.

The symposium reinforced the critical role of cross-border collaboration in advancing the practical application of quantum technologies. Tackling the challenges of social implementation will require continuous and open international dialogue along with a shared vision—an essential first step toward shaping the future.
